Eligibility
NeuCognition primarily serves adults. Services for minors may be available when clinically appropriate and with required parent or legal guardian consent.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Safeguarding Your Information
NeuCognition upholds the highest standards of discretion. Your personal and health information is protected through our Privacy Policy & Notice of Privacy Practices for Protected Health Information, available at www.neucognition.com/privacy-policy. This Notice explains your rights under HIPAA and our responsibilities in ensuring your information remains secure and private. A copy may also be provided upon request.
Respecting Fellow Clients
The presence and participation of every client is private. For the integrity of the center, clients may not disclose or reference the names, experiences, or attendance of other individuals. The center is a place where each person can be fully present, without concern that their journey will be observed or repeated elsewhere.
Document Access
On occasion, clients may wish to receive a copy of their NeuCognition records. All requests must be submitted in writing, signed, and dated by the client or their legal representative. Records will be prepared within the timeframe required by HIPAA regulations and delivered in a secure electronic or printed format. Reasonable preparation or delivery fees may apply. If a portion of the record cannot be released due to legal or safety restrictions, an explanation will be provided in writing. Requests from third parties will only be honored with a valid, client-signed authorization.
Retention: Brain Health Assessment and session documentation is retained for seven years from the last visit unless a longer period is required by law.
Submission: Send written requests to info@neucognition.com or mail to NeuCognition, 7895 Seminole Blvd, Suite 201, Seminole, FL 33772.
Environment & Conduct
Mindful Communication
The atmosphere within NeuCognition is carefully curated to foster peace, focus, and restoration. All clients and guests are expected to maintain soft, respectful tones in conversation. Discussions should support serenity and never intrude on the experience of others.
Devices and Recording
For privacy and tranquility, devices remain silent in all areas. Recording or photography is not permitted anywhere in the center without prior written permission.
Punctuality
Time is a cornerstone of the NeuCognition method. Arriving promptly ensures that your Series flows as designed and that results are fully realized. Clients arriving more than fifteen minutes late may forfeit or need to reschedule their session at the discretion of the center.
Respect for Space
The center has been created with precision; from the technology to the design details. Every client shares responsibility for maintaining this standard. Any damage caused by a client or their guest will be the responsibility of the client.
Guest Policy and Responsibility
Guests are welcomed with prior approval only. To enter, each guest must complete a Guest Acknowledgment, which remains valid for a designated period, typically one year unless updated. Guests are asked to honor the same standards of discretion and tranquility as clients. While each guest affirms their own responsibilities, the client remains fully accountable for the actions and conduct of their guest. This includes adherence to all privacy, environmental, and conduct expectations.
Guest Acknowledgment (Reference)
Guests affirm the following before entering client areas:
- Confidentiality: safeguard the privacy of all clients and guests; no disclosure, discussion, or recording of anything observed.
- Presence with Purpose: maintain a calm, respectful demeanor to uphold the sanctuary environment.
- Respectful Conduct: always follow Navigator and staff guidance.
- Boundaries of Access: remain only in approved areas during the visit.
- Role as Guest: understand they are present as a guest, not a participant in services.
All Guest Acknowledgments are completed and signed electronically in Zenoti. This section is provided for reference only.
Personal Preparation
Every service within NeuCognition is designed to work in harmony with your body’s natural rhythms. Proper preparation ensures the integrity of these experiences.
- Hair and Skin: arrive with dry, clean hair, free of sprays, oils, or styling products.
- Makeup, Perfume, and Jewelry: refrain from makeup, perfumes, or strongly scented products. Jewelry should be limited to essentials.
- Attire: wear comfortable, fragrance-free clothing that allows ease of movement and uninterrupted access to services.
These details, though small, have a profound effect on the quality of your sessions and the atmosphere of the center.
Plan Adherence and Results
Commitment to Care
Your NeuCognition Series is not a collection of sessions; it is a sequenced experience designed with precision. Each step builds upon the one before it, creating momentum for outcomes that cannot be achieved through sporadic or partial participation. By adhering to your personalized plan, you protect the investment you have made in your own results and preserve the efficiency of the center for all clients.
Completion Review
At the completion of each treatment plan or defined phase of care, your Navigator will guide you through a Completion Review. This is a dedicated time to reflect on progress, review outcomes, and discuss personalized recommendations for what comes next.
Series Completion Acknowledgment (Reference)
At the conclusion of each Series, the following affirmations are completed:
- Completion of Care: The client confirms completion of the recommended treatment plan or phase of care.
- Navigator Review: The Navigator and client review outcomes and next steps together.
- Commitment to Progress: Both acknowledge the importance of participation and adherence in supporting progress.
- Future Guidance: Recommendations are documented for ongoing care, subject to clinical appropriateness and availability.
All Series Completion Acknowledgments are completed and signed electronically in Zenoti. This section is provided for reference only. Centers operate on a private pay basis.
Medical Care and Support Disclaimer
NeuCognition offers advanced services designed to enhance clarity, resilience, and vitality. These experiences are highly specialized, but they are not a replacement for medical care.
- Ongoing Medical Responsibility: every client remains responsible for maintaining an active relationship with their personal healthcare providers for all medical care, including diagnoses, medication management, treatment of conditions, and urgent or emergency care.
- Integration of Care: clients are encouraged to share their NeuCognition plans with their providers so that all aspects of health are coordinated and aligned.
- Specialized Interventions: while NeuCognition may prescribe or administer select interventions such as deep transcranial magnetic stimulation or peptide programs, these remain supportive and distinct from the comprehensive medical management provided by a client’s physician.
- Emergency Situations: NeuCognition is not an emergency medical facility. Should an urgent situation arise while a client is in the center, staff will immediately contact emergency services on the client’s behalf and at their expense. For all other circumstances, clients are expected to seek urgent medical care through their personal physician or by dialing emergency services directly.
Technology and Platforms
Certain services may incorporate third party applications or technologies. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use. Platform availability may change and does not affect plan obligations. NeuCognition applies technologies within a nonmedical wellness framework; no outcomes are guaranteed.
NeuCognition’s role is to complement and support; it does not replace the essential care provided by your medical team.
